THE MATCH

Ever wanted to try a multi-gun match with something besides an AR? Join us at the Piedmont Handgunners Association, the friendliest shooting club in North Carolina, For a unique 2 Gun Match and meet up. Located in scenic Linwood, NC, our match will make use of four 25-50 yard tactical bays, and also a 100-200 yard stage. These five stages will feature unique scenarios from WWII & older conflicts.

Here's your chance to bring out your old firearms and give it a shot. All rifles and pistols will be of 1945 design and older, and must have been fielded by military or police in World War II or older.  This match will include all types of shooters from multi-gun newbies to fully experienced. Wherever you fall in that range, this match is sure to be exciting and feature lots of rifles that aren't seen every day! It's not about having the latest or greatest equipment, rather we just aim to be safe and have a great time.

Aside from being a 2 gun match, this will also be a wonderful opportunity to meet other enthusiasts and spend a day seeing these old warhorses put through their paces in high-stress situations.

Registration/check-in starts at 8:00am. Safety briefing at 8:30am, rounds down range at 9:00am. We expect the match to run until mid/late afternoon, so allow yourself enough time to enjoy a great day!

Note: Anyone choosing to compete in a 1945 or older military uniform will be entered in a drawing for a special award! Theatre/country does not matter, does not need to match firearm. Must wear majority of uniform to qualify (i.e. helmet not required).
